Perfect for my kitty litter

I have the most adorable little calico but he ALWAYS goes in the trash. I bought her a hooded box, but there's always junk behind the opening. This mat is perfect for picking up litter and makes clean up a lot easier (for me). My cat is a bit hesitant about new products so I gave her a day to get used to it. Smaller than stated

Product measures 17.5" x 23" in actual size (carefully measured flat). NOT 18" x 24". The smaller actual size affects the overall functionality of the rug. Also, there is about 2 inches (not measured) on the open side that has no backing underneath, so any debris that falls into that area will land straight on the ground. So the actual functional size of the carpet is only 17.5 inches. x 21". Also, the exposed holes are quite large and hard, so I'm not sure cats would be comfortable walking in…

it's not worth it - litter and burglary

It got some junk in it and I think it would be better if it was bigger as there wasn't a way to separate all the junk from my cat's paws in just a step or two. The biggest problem was that the carpet was not soft at all and refused to lay flat. It was folded in half so I weighed it all day and after about an hour it popped out in the middle again. Then I had it bend in the opposite direction for another day. It reappeared. I have no idea how they can claim it's soft because it was just a little

Keeping the Recycle Bin clutter-free is generally good, but some improvements may be needed.

Pros: I like that it catches most of the junk from the packaging. We use a high walled Nature's Miracle box which catches all the junk that gets thrown away, except for the low front entrance. This mat keeps front-strike dirt off my carpet. Cons: Our cats don't like walking on it. So they jump on the box and jump on the carpet. I bought this to reduce the dirt sticking to my cat's paws. This works surprisingly well! Arrived well packaged and undamaged, but arrived folded and needed to be flattened a bit. The carpet itself is double-layered. The top layer consists of small holes made of hard rubber where the cat steps. The floor is a durable fabric mat to catch falling debris.
