Honeywell 32001639 002 Solenoid Valve Kit Review

Received punctually at the post office the other day and installed right away. Although this is an OEM water valve for my Honeywell humidifier, it is very poorly designed. At best, the flow escaping when the valve is opened is just enough to wet the humidifier pad. Additionally, there is a filter at the tapered input end, which is a good idea in theory. However if you have hard water the filter will clog after about 2 months of moderate use and is almost impossible to remove and clean as it is so small and wedged into the conical end. This is an exact magnet replacement for my oven mounted humidifier, but I daresay it looks better than the original. This one looks like it was built for quite a while. And I love the fact that it was cheaper to buy here at Revain than on Honeywell's website. I am very satisfied with both the quality and the price. And not to mention how easy the installation was.
