Honeywell 50000293 004 Air Filter 🏢 - Size 20X12 5 Inch, Post Filter Review

We wanted a direct replacement for our Blue Honeywell ESPs. They're blue in the photo, but what you get is an aluminum (silver) post-filter that doesn't look electrostatic. It's denser than the aluminum pre-filter, but my wife claims she smells like aluminum when the fan is running. (Your sense of smell is way better than mine so I can't disagree) Anyway, I can't find the original blues online so I might get stuck with these. I hope they really work in terms of dust collection.

The new material is a white/silver mesh instead of a "honeycomb" bluish/blue plastic. Somewhat similar to a wire mesh pre-filter, but definitely different. The product label indicates that the filter medium works more efficiently than its predecessor. Time will tell if they perform better and/or last longer than the old design. Finally found the right post filter. The model has changed from greenish to just aluminum as the new ones are more efficient. This is not the loose mesh used in the pre-filter. Dared to get it for my old F50A which from what I've read is almost identical to the F50E except for a few extra features. The description of this filter product states that it is not compatible with filters A to E, but no one can say exactly how it differs from F. The difference is in the size. This filter is…
