🔑 Honeywell 8101403 Classic Passage Door Knob: Elegant Oil Rubbed Bronze Design Review

I needed to replace my old knobs with some updated oil bronze knobs and they came in a special 5 pack at a great price. I installed them tonight and they work great!

Replaced door handles which have been on the doors for 44 years since the house was built. These are direct replacement parts that were easy to install. They work great. Due to the hidden screws on the old knobs, removing the old knobs took twice as long as installing the new ones. Happy I bought them.

The door knob was easy to install and works as it should. However, it is light and of poor quality compared to the one it replaced which worked well for over 20 years before it broke. I highly doubt this one will last more than 5 years but only time will tell.

Was constantly looking for new oil rubbed bronze buttons to replace my old antique brass buttons and didn't want to spend a fortune. The price on these at Revain was the best I could find and I'm very happy with the quality. Installation was easy. About a year ago I replaced 6 privacy screen pulls, 6 cabinet pulls and 2 one sided pulls and they still look and work just as good as the day I replaced them.

They are awesome! One caveat: if this is a DIY project and you are replacing old door handles, you may need to drill a hole in the door to insert the new handle assembly. How the hell do you do that? You drill a properly sized hole in a 3/4 inch piece of pine wood and then clamp it securely and precisely over the old hole. This gives you a tool to keep the drill steady. It's simple and easy. , it is almost impossible. You can do it!

I've waited too long to install and I'm glad I only bought one. Or would return it. I had to buy something else as it was so cheaply made that the installation couldn't be calibrated. Relatively easy to install, especially if the holes are pre-drilled to the correct size. If not, you need to be careful as they are more sensitive to more size and positional accuracy than I expected. I bought a few of these as well as a privacy version to replace all of my old interior buttons.
