This fan cooled our apartment on the second floor, approx. 950 square meters. foot, on medium settings when the temperature was set to the lowest setting (60 degrees). One side of the apartment faces the sun for most of the day (the hottest part) and this fan kept the temperature around 80-85 degrees around 70 degrees.

First off, this is the fourth fan of this model that I have purchased over the years. It's quiet enough and oscillates quite widely (180 degrees) so it can cover an entire room. I like the cleanable filter. Fans that I bought without a filter are noisy and/or stop working after a summer season. This fan will run for years if you clean the filter when it gets dirty. I stopped buying other fans. This one is the best!

I use my fan 24/7, all year round - from winter to summer. I have birds and the filter catches dander. It needs a light cleaning once a month to keep it working. This is my third. My second lasted from 2014 until the bearings started to squeak at times, which is getting annoying. This is the only fan with a quality grille and a removable filter. They removed the "on" indicator, which was a nice feature because when there's a power surge, the fan doesn't automatically restart.

The fan was amazing and kept my room cool and dusty for the first few months. After these months, however, problems began. At first, the fan stopped responding to the pressed buttons on the control panel, which means I have to use the remote control. Also, the fan will start cycling on and off when it is turned on at some point. that leaves me alone with these specific topics.

The first two settings are a bit louder than I would like, but the lowest setting is fine. I bought three of these fans for different rooms and they really move a lot of air. The "Low" setting is still quite high and probably a bit loud, but I like the sound when I'm sleeping. The high settings aren't as fast as my Store fans, but they'll definitely push out a lot of air. The thermostat function is also a nice touch. But this Honeywell was tricky to assemble alone as there was no easy way to screw on the base with the fan on the side as instructed in the instructions. It would be easier if someone held it.
