🪟 Honeywell POPUP2200 Replacement Space Gard Air Filters Review

It wasn't immediately clear how to install this. When I took out the old filter it was 20 x 25 x 4 installed in a cardboard frame and in a plastic frame that slid into the filter box along two metal rails. This filter does not fit in a plastic frame, but is placed directly between the metal guides. At first I thought it might be the wrong filter size.

I have replaced my Honeywell PopUP, RP2200 20X25X6 (RED) with the ordered Honeywell POPUP2200, 20X25X6 (also shown/advertised as RED). Revain shows the RED version as what I've been using for years. What I received was an all white filter with the same specs as mine. No problem, I thought. I don't care what color. This was very difficult to install. All I can say is slowly and carefully push, pull, twist and push. I installed it despite the difficulties.

You won't find these filters in any major store, so don't worry. They're expensive and it's annoying that you technically have to replace them four times a year, but bite the bullet and do it when you see savings on your energy bill because your heating/cooling unit doesn't have to work as hard . . I don't check the air quality in my home regularly, so I can't tell you I'm breathing fewer toxins than I have in the last month, but at least I feel like it.
