Hooke Road Deflector 2007 2018 Unlimited Review

Very disappointed, there is no place to access the hood latch. I like the look of the insert but it won't install so now I have to return this item.

At first the landing wasn't perfect. Installed on my wife's 2017 JKU, behind her evil eye grille. At first it looked like it would flex, as if its 1/16 inch width was too big. Your grille has mounting holes on the back so I put some small screws in and they look great.

Jeep grille flag is well made and looks good but no clips or ways to attach the flag to the grille. I taped it behind the bars but it might hold up for a while in windy and inclement weather. I was pretty much left to my imagination, with no proper installation, no instructions.

Pretty loose. it's purple I saw another reviewer say the same thing about one from another seller so I went with this one hoping it would be different but it isn't. It's like they drew a blue line and then the color ran out. I also don't like how flat it is, so I already know it won't sit anywhere near the flush. I'll try installing it after I repaint it and hope it's not too bad. Otherwise it will be recycled.

It sucks! Destinations and goods are nonsense. All you get in the box is a mesh screen with some misleading instructions. The mesh screen, the blue flag of life, doesn't even come close to the size needed for it. Too small. Plus, there are no brackets to hold in place. The instructions say to just drop it behind the grill and then reattach the front panel of the grill. The problem is that the grille just slips while driving. Don't buy unless they come with kits and are the right size.

The product is a very strong metal mesh. The paint appeared to be of good quality; no scratches or anything. I've just got back from a long trip and the engine has never overheated like some have claimed. However, the jeep is only a few thousand miles away.
