Damaged packaging: welding equipment and accessories

The package arrived as promised, but either due to poor packaging (just a cotton envelope) or rough handling, the plastic sleeve for the sticks was broken. My son is a professional welder who says this will destroy the flux coating on the rod. It's a shame. I've been very happy so far.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Medium Product - Welding and Soldering

These bars are similar to medium sized bars but I didn't like them as they don't tarnish easily after you've welded something. I needed a file or sandpaper to use it The tip of the rod had to be pocketed almost every time, I wouldn't recommend it, just pay a dollar more and get a Hobart or Lincoln rod, they work better.

  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Safety

Great for 110 welders

Great little sticks I ordered these for my Hot Max 110 welder and they are the best welding sticks I have ever used with my welder and I have been using this welder for 10 years already . and other rods had trouble filling the gaps, they looked like they made a good weld, but when you cut the slag in the middle, a crack appears and you have to weld and clean the slag, then weld again until You get a strong weld welded joint. two metal parts. But I'm lucky with these rods, now there will be a…

Average product for stick electrodes

These sticks look like regular sticks but I didn't like them as they don't coil up easily after welding, I needed a file or sandpaper Use it almost every time on the Tip of the rod when I had to pocket it. I would not recommend it. Just pay a dollar more and buy a Hobart or Lincoln rod, they work better.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Super for welding machine 110

Great little rods. I ordered these for my Hot Max 110 welder and they are the best welding rod I have used with my welder to date and I have been using this welder for 10 years and the other rods have had trouble filling gaps. They may look like they made a good weld, but if you cut the slag in half, a crack will appear and you will have to weld, clean the slag, and weld again until you have a solid weld connecting the two pieces of metal connects. But I'm lucky with these rods, now there will…

Hot Max Electrodes - Arc Welders

I needed an electrode over 1/16" but under 3/16" for use with an 80 amp inverter welder. Using a welder with a generator as the power source seemed to reduce the available amperage to the point where the 3/16 inch diameter rods could no longer hold the arc. These slightly smaller electrodes allowed me to do repairs where there was no power. 1/16 inch electrodes also worked, but I was only able to get a bead about 2.5 cm long before changing the wands. For thicker materials I rooted with 1/16"…

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
