As an aspiring skateboarder I was hesitant to buy a pro skateboard. I heard Hoten is a good brand and I liked their style so I decided to give it a try. I found this skateboard great for any skill level. It worked well for me as a beginner and is smooth and stable which has allowed me to make good progress. I also have a few friends use it, including a couple who are closer to a pro than a beginner. , and both found that this is a great skateboard!

This is a good quality skateboard. The top of the deck is very grippy so you can't slip and the bottom has a very cool print. The wheels are strong and the ride is pretty smooth. I already have a longboard but bought one for my husband and a smaller one for our 4 year old so the boys can do their own thing. Even though I skate a bit more than he does, I don't do tricks and I can't tell if it holds up to tricks, but I can tell how the deck works, tricks are done. It's more than just a beginner…
