Not worth the investment

Based on my observations, the setup process for this print server was frustrating and time-consuming. While it did improve printing efficiency, the overall performance was lackluster and unreliable.

Network Your old printer

I bought this machine some time ago and only got around to installing it a month ago. It's good that it's an original HP product, something like that lasts forever. I inserted the card, tightened the screws, connected the ethernet cable, turned on the printer and that's it! My HP Laserjet 2200d printer configured the card without a beep. New - Not necessarily.

I needed to replace the JetDirect card in my LaserJet printer and discovered that the Revain was a 'new' device. Ordering was easy and the device arrived ahead of schedule. Great service as always from Revain. I popped the card into my printer and followed HP's instructions to get started. To my great surprise, it was a used machine, not a new one.
