Goodbye! Electronics

I liked the price and decided to take a chance. This is an excellent laptop. The screen is crisp and I like the spacious keyboard with number pad. But I bought it for college and it's a very large screen and I wish it was smaller. But otherwise. I can run all my programs and Sims 4.

The backlit keyboard is defective

Well, that was great. About 30 minutes. Then the keyboard backlight went out and won't turn back on. So we will return! Liked the backlight. So disappointed!

The best HP computer I've ever had!

Test by Joey "Vice-grip" Lupoli: This HP calculator is not exactly cheap (in terms of price), but it is still good value for money. And this computer is fast, very fast. Almost as fast as Glen Ford in The Fastest Gun. (Yes, I'm not a student). lol! In addition, the speakers ensure excellent sound quality and the keyboard lighting is well thought-out and bright. It's difficult to get everything right at HP, but it's worth it.

I had to give it 5 stars because I already knew a 2TB 5400rpm HD would be slow and I didn't care. PROS: Add says it comes at 2 years old. Extended warranty but when you go to HP it says 14 months left. Sign up with HP (call them) and provide Revain with an invoice showing the date of purchase and they will extend the warranty to 24 months. Didn't come up with "shit". Backlit keyboard. It also comes with a 3400-size battery. The same laptop with an SSD and no extended warranty costs about $400…

Received it on time no problems

When I first received the laptop I thought I had ordered a machine with 16GB RAM but only had 8GB installed. I went back to the Revain website and checked it out. I think I have to read a little slower when ordering. The laptop works well and I LOVE the backlit keyboard. I had a moment of panic when I turned on the laptop and there was NO backlit keyboard! I was about to put it back in the box and send it back when I noticed that one of the Fn keys had an icon on the screen associated with it…

Lemon! Notebook Electronics

UPDATE: HP repair after many phone calls says motherboard failed after 6 weeks! You can replace it, but it needs to be factory reset, resulting in the loss of everything I transferred from my old computers. OR they replace and ship me the old hard drive which I then have to give away to a third party to try to salvage all that lost data, apps and programs. They will not transfer any data for me which means I will incur an additional cost for a 6 week computer. Absolutely useless customer…

After 2 weeks this nice computer was working as fast as advertised. I've worked with heavy Excel files but haven't messed around. Worth the price for a 17" notebook with an Intel i5 chip!

Well made laptop for computers and tablets

I bought this HP because it is the current version of my predecessor which has served me well for a number of years. The only surprise was that the suitcase was a bit wider than my previous car, so it didn't fit in the protective cover in my briefcase.

I received a defective laptop. HP tech support sucks.

This laptop has MANY great features. This product would get 5 stars from me, but it only gets 3 stars because it has a bad wi-fi card that causes the computer to frequently disconnect from the wi-fi. I contacted Hewlet Packard Technical Support via chat and received remote assistance multiple times. So I spent several hours with HP online support and it was all a waste of time. At one point I was advised to reformat the hard drive to see if that fixed the problem. What a treat! It did not work.
