INTRODUCTION - This power steering pulley puller and installer set is a disconnect tool to release the power steering line from pump on 1989-current GM pickups 1/2T, 3/4T & 1T. APPLICATIONS - Works on Ford, GM and Chrysler vehicles with Saginaw, Thompson and Ford C111 and C2 power steering pumps. Fits 1 1/8", 1 1/4", 1 5/16", and 1 3/8" pulley hub diameters including 1988 and newer GM cars equipped with Quad 4 engines; 1991 and newer GM minivans with 3.1L and 3800 V-6 engines; 1991 to current Ford 4.6L engines with a metric shaft. Also includes spacer for work on Chrysler Cirrus, Dodge Stratus and Plymouth Breeze. EASY TO USE - All the needed accessories are ready in the kit. Installing and pulling the pulley can be both completed with one set. Match threads of installation bolt to the thread center of the mainshaft and lubricate threads. Using pressure bearing assemble and attach to main shaft with pulley in place. Hold installation bolt and turn pressure bearing until pulley pressed all the way on. The only tool you need is a ratcheting wrench to hold and turn. CR-V MATERIAL - Made with top quality materials chrome vanadium steel, the screws for pulleys are super durable and sturdy. Perfect for working in a garage or service station setting.
