I just finished a 225 person event, these spoons were a huge hit with my team. The apron was so comfortable you forgot you were wearing it. It's the design, it doesn't tighten the neck. 5 stars for you. Yes I know it will cost you a little more but worth every dollar. Looks good, lots of pockets, great towel holder, nice feel, fits anywhere.

This apron is everything we expected and even more! The main reason we bought it was because it doesn't tie around the neck and therefore doesn't pull on the neck. And it didn't disappoint! What otherwise surprised us positively: Incredibly good, dense material. Very comfortable to wear. LOTS of pockets. No need to tie the back, there is a clip. suffocates me) Extremely adjustable for all sizes/types. Easily adaptable to everyone. I will buy a second one for my husband!

So I bought 'heavy' instead of waxed because 'waxed' was supposedly not available. After I got my "heavy" apron, I washed it because I wanted to put tape on it to protect my apron from water. Well then I realized they had sent me a 'waxed' apron which I originally wanted but couldn't because it was 'unavailable' - and the waxed apron cannot be washed! So, now my beautiful new waxed apron will be spoiled with soapy water! I wish I could give 5 stars but obviously there was a misunderstanding…

I sort of checked my aprons, they are BOMB! (in a good way) I cook from scratch at least twice every day. Sometimes that involves a grill, sometimes a garden, sometimes a bone saw (large cuts of meat that I dry) and sometimes just a regular plate and oven. Rigid, softens after several washes. The material is nice and thick and the rivets are strong. I'm a tall guy at 6ft 2in and 290lbs who might be a bit wider. says it's sized for a 50" waist but then it will be straight on the sides and won't close at all. Upgrade. A customer spoke about the smell of the apron. I have a pretty good sense of smell and couldn't detect any "foreign" smell. I like to cook outdoors. a lot of! But I also spend a lot of time in the kitchen doing prep work and using the stove and oven when needed. Otherwise I tend to one of the smokers outside, bend over a cast-iron pot on the open fire or just grill. fire hazard. My apron needs to be really breathable, stay close to my body no matter how I bend, kneel or stand on a windy day, and be a safe distance from open flames.
