Make LED bulbs fit Honda Prelude

I have a 2000 Prelude that I was looking to fit LED bulbs in. This adapter worked great and allowed me to fit the bulbs into Honda's unique mounting clamp.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Socket required

They work.: Headlight bulb holder

Works but is very difficult to install. Headlights are inherently difficult to access within the array. These adapters don't have anything to hold on to, so I had to insert the screwdriver with one hand and insert the screwdriver with the other and hold the flashlight with the other. Trying to pick all three locks at once kicked my ass. But in the end they work. It could have been designed better.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Quality

Couldn't get it to work.

Couldn't get them to upgrade the LED headlights in our son's 2007 Mazda5; too weak and the split ring design kept pushing the ring apart. I ended up installing a set of Pathfinder light bulbs (with a strong aluminum adapter ring) that I had on hand for my bike. Wouldn't recommend - too flimsy to help if you're trying to install one of the 'standard' LED kits (we tried installing a pair of katanas) found here at Revain.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Upgradeable

A must when switching to LED headlights!

I got these spacers for my 2006 Mazda3 when I changed my headlights to LED and they do the job. However, whoever designed the spotlight should be put in jail! I'm used to screwing and locking the headlight bulbs, that whole door latch with a lock was a big problem in the back, I most likely didn't install it properly (but the headlights are fine) but I'm glad I did found these spacers!

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • dim

Works with stock headlights, aftermarket mileage may vary.

To These things work exactly as they should. Fits easily into the original headlight housing. However . I bought them for the aftermarket and for some reason the aftermarket bodies have a completely different lamp attachment mechanism. But it doesn't make any sense to me. They don't work for what I need. I send back aftermarket lights and hope the new ones I pick will have something like stock housings.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Ideal for Honda vehicles using H1 bulbs.

This article was a great help when installing the H1 LED bulbs in the projector housing. I installed them on TYC headlights on a replica Civic Type R-EP3. The H1 LEDs themselves didn't fit properly. Most Honda vehicles have a factory plug adapter that plugs into the H1 bulbs. Which is not found in most standard H1 LED bulbs. So that was the missing link. You install the metal clamp from the LED bulb, then it goes up, secure it with a spring clamp and then insert the LED bulb. It worked great.

Pros
  • High quality workmanship
Cons
  • Some small things

Totally useless if you have a 2014 Kia Sorento.

Was sold to me as an adapter to install LED headlights on my 2014 Kia Sorento. Unfortunately, they don't even come close, so don't waste your money if your year is 2014. My only regret is that I waited until my current headlights burned out to replace them only to find out that this aftermarket didn't fit and now it's too late to return them on credit. Well, live and learn. When I finally find something that fits, I test it out the same day I get it so I can return it on credit if it doesn't…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok
