I needed a product that would help me slam my bedroom door. I thought those rectangular see-through bumpers would fit the bill perfectly, but there are a few downsides. They are very "soft" and stretch very easily, so it's difficult to place the rectangle on the door frame like a real rectangle - it ends up looking more like a flattened oval or a worm. I read in many reviews that the packaging was open and parts were missing. The product was exactly what I was looking for, so I gave it a go. Of course the entire right side of the package was open and there was nothing inside. I needed this to keep the inner door from slamming and I didn't get a muffler for the inner door because that section was completely missing. I really wanted to love her. They muffle the closing noise. The horizontal pieces are nice and narrow, ideal for a door, but lo and behold they make it difficult to close the door fully. They hardly let us lock the door if we give it a nudge, banging it open with our hips, like old car doors do.
