If you can figure out how to turn them upside down, then there's better slack than binding clips, but tightening them that way is almost impossible. If they were made with some sort of textured thumb lift device under the bed, that might be fine. But it's just not for me and I'm going back to binder clips.

Therefore, care must be taken to ensure that the clips do not interfere with the hot-end assembly when printing. I will use these clips as they are now. If in the future I need to reduce the overhang of the clamp, I print a 2mm thick spacer (see photo; wrench size approx. 2mm) and cut the set screw flush with the top of the clamp.
