Works for a while, then Git wears out too much

This works well for all corners at first (by hand or by finisher/flasher). But it will lose its "graininess" quickly. I still use it to clean inside corners (quicker than using a square sponge by hand) but it doesn't smudge the edges.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Useless functions

Good quality product, bad design

Real head is good quality but the system is not very good. Claws that grab the grinder head don't work well as they tear off the head very quickly. Due to a failure of the claw system I was only able to use 1 grinding head at about 1/10th of its potential.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Doubtful

Sponges are too brittle

Did a great job sanding the high corners of my curved top but the claws have snapped off the Sponge pretty fast and renders him useless. Not sure I'll bother replacing it as I need to replace the sponge which often feels unstable, it's easier to climb a ladder and do it by hand than mess with it. Although a great idea.

Pros
  • Secure locking mechanism keeps sponge right where needed and won't lose like velcro
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model

Get 3M spray adhesive

The claw rips out the back of the sponge when there is still enough time for the sanding part. That. Take 3M spray adhesive and follow the instructions on the can, hold on. Sander works well, does what he has to do. You still have to touch up the awkward sections and tees by hand, but it saves a lot of time and effort.

Pros
  • U-joint design keeps the head stable for much smoother sanding
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Excellent grinding but quickly ruins sponges

So the sponge is held by these hooks which are very sharp but the trigger mechanism was too crude to use just fingers for fear I might somehow get my hand in the hook to open it. putting on a sponge for the first time. I kept moving the sponge because it was starting to loosen, I had to find a new healthy piece of sponge for the hooks to hook into, but I felt it was wearing out too quickly compared to how long hand sanding sponges last longer keep.

Pros
  • Patented Claw Grip technology allows you to change sponges quickly and safely compared to traditional Velcro.
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
