discolors in jug Water filter

Definitely good except over time the charcoal filters discolor the carafe and it looks dirty and not very appetizing and really hard (couldn't quite) clean it.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Low repairability

It may be clean, but it doesn't improve flavor

I live in Bossier City, Louisiana and work in Shreveport, Louisiana. When I tried it at home I thought it was perfect! So easy and fast to filter the water. Then he got to work. should have known that nothing can fix Shreveport's waters. Maybe it got cleaned up? But you can't tell by the taste.

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended purpose
Cons
  • Many things

There are better filters on the market

I like this pot, but I can't stand the taste. This gives the water a plastic taste. The filter is made of charcoal and leaves residue in the water. I'm sure it's normal, but the black dots in my water make me weird. I don't think it's worth it for the taste alone. Even Crystal Light does not mask the taste.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Replacement filters not available or not available!

I like the look, shape, size, ease of use and cleaning of the bottle. Bought based on customer reviews and ratings, but NONE of the reviews mentioned not being able to get a replacement filter? I have to order directly from the manufacturer's website, which is not preferred, I prefer the availability of a Revain subscription.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Leaks but tastes good

You need room in your sink to set the pitcher up and turn the water on just right so it doesn't overflow when you fill it. This is not usually a problem, but for information. Also, the floor is leaking. Water droplets form in several places where the clear plastic meets the rubber base and when you get home after filling, there is a ring of water around it. quality control? I don't know but I wish it wasn't because I like it different.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Annoys

Nice design, works great, small design flaw

I really really really wanted to give 5 stars but I can't. There is a design flaw that allows tap water to flow through the spout if the water is flowing too fast. I didn't see him until the second filling. I attributed the initial "unpleasant" taste to maybe not drying out completely after the conditioner I used on it. That works great! Remember that tap water should be very weak and controlled.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Little things

Slow filter and space to filter is very small

This is the fastest filter system. That I'm totally against it. I've been looking for replacement filters and can't find the one I used before. So I just bought a whole new water filter system. I am very disappointed with the product description that says "fast filter speed". That's not true, I have to set my tap to a very fine, thin jet so as not to overflow the filter chamber. I'm too lazy to return the goods in this pandemic. So I kept it. If you like white noise, a thin trickle of water for

Weird taste and not as effective as it looks

We've been using Brita for a long time which is fine but I wanted something that looked nicer and could sit on the table. this type has two major problems with design and functionality. Taste is the biggest issue. After about 48 hours, the water in the carafe takes on a very strong plastic taste. The water is fine after the first filtration, if not cleaner than Brita. But the plastic taste is 8/10. Can't ignore. The filter speed is great. Very fast. However, the design flaw is that the…

Poor filter design

I believe water can pass through this filter faster than others but filling the jug is a real pain. Most jugs have a reservoir at the top which you fill and the water can slowly flow through the filter . It doesn't have a reservoir, you basically pour water straight into the filter, which can't process the water as fast as it flows out of the faucet. So basically you have to sit there and hold it under the faucet. And you really have to look at that. I figured it would be wiser if I put it in a
