It does what it says on the tin

They actually sent me one in aluminum when I ordered the composite but I'm not complaining. It's great quality and it does its only job of holding my phone in my car.

Pros
  • Always liked it
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

The iBolt and Arkon arms are exactly the same.

I ordered a 6" double socket iBolt lever. The packaging was labeled accordingly, but the hand itself was a version of Arkon. The handle was marked Arkon. Compared to the Arkon hand I already had. It was exactly the same. They probably mixed up the packaging and the goods somewhere. The hand works fine. Same quality as any other aluminum hand. The only difference is that the surface is smooth and not textured. They all seem to cost about the same.

Pros
  • Finally bought it

  • Some cons

Rigid aluminum bracket Makes as required

Makes as required. Keep in mind that adding this length will decrease stiffness depending on the mount. There is nothing against this special piece, just the nature of the animal. I needed this length to mount a cup holder (I didn't want to drill into the dash so some loss of rigidity was acceptable) from my tablet console to clear the dash. would recommend.

  • Mobile phones and accessories
Cons
  • Price

There is no connecting internal spring like the ram lever.

Probably works but has no internal spring to keep parts connected and adjustable like a ram arm. It's just a cheap copy made by Chicom that doesn't work like a ram mount. Can't last long if you attach it to Ram ball mount. Without a connecting compression spring, the mount cannot clamp another ball when released. This was supposed to be for a portable speaker mounted on my bike and I'm going to take it off the boat before using this thing. The screw for the clamp parts doesn't hold together, if
