These cutters did an excellent job cutting cable and sheathing. I like the functionality of the air conditioning very much. I was able to get a clean cut and then slightly round the ends of the case. I'm glad I went with this one and not the more expensive option as it does everything I need it for well.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much some cord cutters cost. IceToolz was in the middle for the price, and having had success with the company's Ocarina torque wrench, I decided to give it a try. Simply cut off the case and cable. The built-in case conditioner is also great. I had trouble with the crimping tool, but it could be user error, and besides, I don't care how "nice" the crimps are, so I just used a different part of the tool to snip off the ends of the cable. I'm not a bike mechanic, but maybe a bit more than an ordinary bike enthusiast. However, I do enjoy making my own work, especially when it's fairly straight forward. I was reluctant to get a specific tool for the job. I have hundreds of tools available and wire cutters are included in my box. First I tried to cut the brake cables with it and damn it was sloppy.
