This is complete rubbish. Fragile, doesn't stand up on its own, pieces don't stick together - basically doesn't do what it's supposed to. I'm sure the plastic itself isn't strong enough to withstand a wet coating - it reminds me of the thin, brittle plastic that model cars are made of. Luckily, it falls apart and tips over before that ever happens. If you go to Home Depot and buy a $10 PVC pipe, it's better than this and leaves enough to buy a Starbucks on the way home. .

A part broke on the first try. I didn't need it at the height I put in the boat without it. It kept falling off when I moved the lid, what do you have to do to put it on.
