Works perfectly with Polycom POE desk phone

I work from home and my employer gave me a very nice Polycom desk phone to use with the Fuze VOIP system. The phone did not come with a power adapter but supports Power over Ethernet. This POE injector is compact and relatively inexpensive, so I decided to give it a try. I'm happy to report that it works great - restarted the phone a few times, downloaded a few updates and has been working great since day one. This injector is excellent value for money.

Pros
  • Dream come true
Cons
  • Minor repairability

I wanted this to work. The price is good, the design is easy to use and I wanted to take the desk phone home. I don't know what the problem is, but it doesn't work with our Mitel/Aastra 6867i or 6863i phones. Tested with three different phones. I'm assuming it's passive power versus active power, but I could be wrong about that. I hooked up a Fluke LinkSprinter to it and it showed up and reported, so I know it's turning on and running network traffic. . Maybe it's just a problem with our…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Weak bundle

. iCreatin 2 Pack PoE Wall Injector Power Over Ethernet Adapter is a cost effective and most efficient POE solution for use with ANY wired Ring Stick Camera. Install multiple ring cameras for the same router? Use POE Switch with iCreatin POE injector to control POE ring cameras. Description is wrong. Not active 802.3af POE

Despite the description, this is not an 802.3af device. I am giving a 1 star rating because the description is incorrect. If you need 802.3af, this isn't for you. iCreatin Wall Plug POE Injector with 48V Power Supply, 802.3af for Most Cisco/Polycom/Aastra et al Phones sold by Plus Tech Ltd from 8th April 2015 What is the difference between Passive and Active PoE? (Source Tycon)A: Passive PoE always has power on the port. The voltage can be between 12 VDC and 57 VDC. Active PoE conforms to IEEE…

Works as advertised

1 star review says the description is wrong but appears to be for a different product. This confused me at first, so I bought these PoE splitters on a whim. To my surprise it worked fine. I was able to connect two Foscam FI9900 cameras to it using my PoE switch. To be clear, this allows me to power my non-PoE IP cameras with my PoE switch. That was a lot cheaper than replacing the cameras with cameras with native PoE support. The only downside is that it didn't fit in the junction box that I 3D

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • No paint needed
