Description of 🔌 ICStation Relay Power Switch Module with Optocoupler - 2PCS | High-Level Trigger | DC 3V 3.3V | For ESP8266 Development Board Arduino

ICStation 1CH 3V 3.3V relay power switch module with optocoupler high level trigger for ESP8266 development board. 【Optocoupler Isolation】it can control high current load via low current, and replace mechanical switch. Use the classical and beautiful black PCB and metal components, looks cool and pleasure to the eyes, which will show your whole DIY project superior. 2pcs with the independent anti-static packing. Size: 50x26x17mm/1.97x1.02x0.67inch, Voltage: 3V-3.3V, Current: <200mA (operating); <5mA (trigger). Operating Temperature: -25~85 Celsius. 【Load Capacity】7A, 240V AC; 10A 120V AC; 10A 28V DC. Please do not go beyond the voltage or current, or it will burn the relay contact. Load wire is fenestrate processed, if it is tin plated, it can bear high current (please pay attention to the insulation). 【Interface】 Input: VCC, GND, IN; Load Port: Normal Close, Common, Normal Open. 【Wiring】(1) VCC connects DC 3.3V positive; (2) GND connects DC 3.3V negative; (3) IN connects main control equipment input port, such as MCU, sensor output port (0 and 1, you can adjust via the switch on your own); (4) Please note that the power cannot be reversely connected, or it will burn the module. Connect the power; when push the switch to L, IN port will input low level, and relay will operate, S lamp will be on. If COM and NO are connected; when input high level, the relay will release, and S lamp will be off. If COM and NO are disconnected, it becomes connection between COM and NC. If push the switch to H, and not use the relay, NC and COM are connected.

Ideal for 3V logic level boards

Ideal for 3V logic level boards like most ESP8266 based boards. These are high level triggers, so the relay will be "off" (NO open and NC closed) when 0V is applied and "on" (NO closed and NC open) when 3v3 is applied.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Zero

Works with known input

Works well - NOTE: For small boards (e.g. ESP8266) you need to supply 3V to V+ and switch separately - the individual pins have no power to switch individually. Let's see how long the season lasts. Use to switch garage door opener via Smartthings and ST_Anything

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Has flaws

Works great: Power Accessories

Works great. I like the slim design because they fit better in a single box with other components I use to make smart devices work with the Hubitat. Update after a month of use. I use them to power LED lights (wall warts) and a 3 bulb signal light in my garage. They turn on 15 minutes before sunset and turn off 15 minutes after sunrise. So far no problems at all.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Boring pack

Compact well made - power accessories

These relays were individually well packaged, the soldering quality was much better than other relays at this price point. Overall, a very good value if you have to switch higher AC voltages from a small DC regulator. The package comes with a QR code that can be scanned for instructions if needed, but using it is pretty much self-explanatory. Relay boards are fairly compact, making them ideal for small projects, but not so small that it's difficult to wire them up.

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good relays for low voltage ICs

They work well with 3.3V microcontrollers. In my limited testing they can safely and fairly reliably switch 12V/5A. I plan on going through them about 8 times Amplifier; So far so good, but hopefully not close enough to the listed values to cause problems in the long run. The only comment I have should be pretty obvious to anyone using a relay module like this, but I made that mistake and think it's worth calling out. The bare metal relay pins and screw terminals protrude at about the same…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Not bad but...

It seems to me that the reviews contain a decent amount of incomplete information that can be misleading. They are sold as 3V, but the 3V logic signal is barely enough to trigger the optocoupler. 3 times 3 is much more reliable. In addition, the input current is very dependent on the voltage. - At 3V I've found that the relay is normally energized and the input pin draws about 1mA (below this the relay doesn't always switch). - On 3x3 the relay was very reliable and the input contact drew about

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • There are doubts
