quality product! - Fittings

Used to replace the plastic radiator outlet tee for the 2004 Saab 9-3 Arc. Works great with 1/4" to 1/2" brass fitting with 1/4" threaded hole.

No complaints! Used to drain coolant

Connects to a 1.25" ID lower radiator hose and installs Dormam 61105 to create a convenient coolant drain (which doesn't spill antifreeze all over my suspension unlike a stupidly placed faucet ). the 1/8" connector does not need to be deburred.

Reliable outlet solution

Used on 2003 Land Rover Discovery to add an additional outlet to the upper radiator hose above the fan. When I use an in-line thermostat, air on the radiator side of the thermostat adapter gets trapped in the upper hose and as a result I have a very uneven coolant temperature depending on the gradient. This allowed me to bleed air from the cooler side of the thermostat and got rid of the odd temperatures.

Installation problem solved!

How do you install a 2.8 liter engine in a 1927 Chevrolet? Answer - Very carefully and with such details. With a custom radiator and a unique engine setup, going from engine to radiator is a real challenge. After taking my template to a parts store and examining all the pre-made hoses, I concluded that no hose could do it! This detail allowed me to connect the two hoses and make the transition clean. Now for the next challenge.

Ultimately it could have been more but settled on my Saab 9-3 Upper Hose Tee

Good product, would have enlarged the T area to be able to cut it into a larger fitting Place at least 1/2 barb connector ready. For a 2005 Saab 9-3 2.0 Turbo you will need at least three brass adapters to connect the turbo coolant hose to the tee. The first is 1/8" mpt - 3/8 fpt. , then work (don't think about the size of the next fitting) to get to the 1/2" nozzle fitting. A worthy permanent replacement for the plastic fitting comes with the new upper hose. Prone to failures due to external…
