This kit is pure Chinese junk. The power valve is all wrong and I don't see how it will ever work properly. The accelerator pump sucks. All springs are short and have much less stiffness. They won't work properly. All pads are thin. The kit is absolute junk!

Bought the set just for the gaskets. They are alright. I tried using a needle and seat but the needle didn't go deep enough so the float kept it closed. I used the power valve, strainer and idle mixture screw from the kit. My accelerator pump was still working fine so I couldn't even get a good look at the one provided. In general, the set was a success.

This is a mediocre set for me. Different float needles, probably usable but minor difference. Some parts are close enough to be used and some don't work The carburetor didn't fit properly, I had to bend part of it to fill a gap in a gasket that wasn't there and I had to drill another gasket, so the hole could be opened, which was all I could do. made and rebuilt the carburetor but had to reuse some parts that I would rather replace and get creative with a few shims but it was impractical

I ended up just using gaskets. I cleaned the carburetor and used original parts. The fuel pump wasn't exactly the right size, so I didn't use it. I replaced the float assembly but ended up leaking gas into the carburetor because it needed a different adjustment. So I went back to camp. My 2001 3.0 Mercruiser carburetor is pretty good.
