This switch works as intended but is weak and sometimes does not hold the ON position. He will return to his original position.

This switch does not stay in position after starting the engine. The spring inside seems to be too strong and will snap back to the off position. Returned it for a refund and bought an OEM switch from my local dock. Paid more for OEM but worth it. Don't waste your time with this switch.

Direct transition to wiring. Worked halfway. It then switches back to the off position by itself. I had to manually hold it in place to return to the dock. I'll go to the boat dealer and pay for a better derailleur. A ruined weekend sucks. When they started to get him out of the boat he literally broke into pieces!

If you need a key switch, don't buy it. As soon as the boat started and drove off, this bitch started shutting itself off, which I didn't realize until I put it on the hose at home. It turns off to even start it, you had to hold it down which doesn't really work. Save yourself the heartache, buy the OEM.
