🌊 IIT 16307 10" Jumbo Plastic Funnel for Efficient Pouring and Transfers Review

Excellent bottle funnel for home brewing and winemaking. It fits my 6 gallon glass bottle and all my 5 gallon PET bottles. I'm not sure if it's "food" but it hardly matters if you just need to pour your condiment or digest it within a few seconds. It's cheap and just what every home brewer needs.

Used today to fill a punching bag with sand. (My old college punching bag that was kept in the basement). Lived to write a review. It did the job, but the plastic is a little wobbly. I wanted a metal funnel but couldn't find that size this week. $15 is a bit pricey for a plastic funnel, but it worked. Four and a half stars.

I've spent my whole life with garbage hoppers that one day this crumb showed up in the recommendations. I don't want to say that the funnel can change my life, but since I bought it my life has improved a lot. I met the woman of my dreams and got a big promotion at work. Works better than I expected. Remain still while fuel is poured into the lawn tractor. I can tell by the sound when the tank is almost full so I can stop watering and avoid overfilling. This is necessary as new EPA cylinder regulations are leading to more spills and leaks. There are aftermarket kits to convert gas cylinders back to the old style, but conversion kits aren't perfect. Bought this to hang on my squirrel proof cylindrical bird feeder. My feeder seals the feeding holes when a squirrel jumps on it - too much weight. However, squirrels are smart when they hang and eat upside down without weighing down the feeder. A 10 inch hopper worn upside down on top of the feeder keeps them from hanging straight down to feed. Works like a charm to fill my Cadet lawnmower's gas tank, the spout is long enough to fit easily into the slanted filler tube, I use a 10" bungee cord, to secure him. Pipe almost vertical, hook one end of the bungee cord into the hole on the funnel used to hang on the wall hook, and hook the other end of the bungee cord on the steering wheel sprocket, PERFECT! Love this funnel - very handy for pumping liquids on a farm with thirsty equipment. They are used for transferring from very large tanks to smaller hand held tanks, filling 2 gallon gas or diesel canisters from drums etc. They will probably hold a gallon - the outlet is 1" in diameter and the hole at the top is really 10". .We have 4 of these - they hold up well but need to be treated with care.
