LED indicators are hard to see

This is a regular USB hub. Overall it works great and has decent build quality (doesn't feel as cheap as some others I've tried before). I really like mechanical switches (they are very easy to use, spring resistance is great). The only really annoying issue is that the LED indicators on the side of the mirror are virtually invisible (what a horrible idea!) - see attached image. This is somewhat noticeable under certain lighting conditions (i.e. in the dark when there is no/less direct…

The best USB 3.0 box I've ever seen!

I have had several different USB 3.0 hubs or devices to handle all of my USB needs on my home computer, be it external hard drives, keyboards, mice, computer speakers and the like. This device really seems to work the best and I've had it for about a month with no problems. And this is my first time with these long USB 3.0 hubs. It also has button indicators for using the USB port. All 10 of those USB ports are USB 3.0, which is what I needed. Beautifully designed and weighs a little this item.

Solid but with some nuances.

This is a USB 3.0 hub with a decent power supply. One important thing to keep in mind, however, is that without getting too technical, there is a limit to the number of "endpoints" that can be allowed on a single USB port at one time. Each device you connect offers one or more of these endpoints (e.g. my wireless headset offers 6). The internal structure of this hub is such that the first two ports (top, closest to the USB host and power connectors) are on dedicated ports on the root hub. The…

Small, thin and packed with ports

I have had many different USB hubs but this is simply the best. Lots of ports, each with a power switch. It is not necessary to separate one thing in order to connect another. The only thing I would like about this hub is the mounting options. At the moment it only has one option: attach Velcro to the bottom, but it would be nice if there was some kind of mount that could be permanently attached to any surface. That being said, I highly recommend everyone to try this center.

6 hard drives are working fine

My hub arrived today and all my 6 external hard drives are working fine. I have: 1-500GB, 1-1TB, 1-2TB, 2-4TB, 1-14TB and I have a mini piano keyboard attached to it. However, my mouse doesn't work with this hub, but I'm fine. Most importantly, all my hard drives are working properly, which was my main goal. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars, otherwise I'm absolutely satisfied. I like how it looks and works so far. If I come across any changes I will update. It's the first day after all,

First worked.: Hubs

Initially impressed with solid feel but after a little over a month of use two ports failed. Notably, each port has its own on/off button, and the buttons on two ports no longer remain pressed. The supplier sent a replacement so they are fine but I hope the replacement still works. Edit after receiving a replacement device - one of the buttons on the replacement device is now difficult. I "fixed" it by pressing it down and putting some tape on it and it's holding. *Without* the buttons this…

10 ports, each with a switch

This is a solid device that seems well built. I assume it will last a long time. Aside from being well made and not taking up any extra space on my desktop, every switch has the same switch. This is an important feature that I haven't used on the hub before. I can leave everything plugged into the outlet and just turn on the switch when I want to turn on whatever is plugged into that port. This is especially valuable on a device like my Epson Perfection Scanner that doesn't have a power button…

Very GOOD, longer cable required

The blue LED lighting is great. Not too bright, not too big. Not nearly as annoying as most USB hubs. The ports themselves are good. Not too tight, but not loose either. Ideal for USB plugs from different manufacturers. The two rectangular anti-slip tabs on the bottom keep it in place well and won't scratch. If something connected is not working, the LED will blink instead of staying solid. This is a good warning. An on/off switch for each port is also a plus. Only complaints, minor: I wish…
