Review on πŸ’» ikuai Aluminum 10-Port USB 3.0 Data Hub with Individual On/Off Switches and 12V/3A Power Adapter – Expand Connectivity for Desktop PC, Laptop, and More by Michael Rodas

Solid but with some nuances.

This is a USB 3.0 hub with a decent power supply. One important thing to keep in mind, however, is that without getting too technical, there is a limit to the number of "endpoints" that can be allowed on a single USB port at one time. Each device you connect offers one or more of these endpoints (e.g. my wireless headset offers 6). The internal structure of this hub is such that the first two ports (top, closest to the USB host and power connectors) are on dedicated ports on the root hub. The other two ports on the root hub are shared among the remaining 8 slots (4+4). When you plug in a device and Windows complains that it is exceeding the USB controller's resources, you are exceeding the number of endpoints. Try moving the newly connected device to one of the first two ports.
