Quality blade at a great price

I had a few other blades on my jet band saw and almost bought a very expensive blade but so far it is as good as it used to be. Hardness (M42), does not stick and cuts quickly. Will definitely buy one more of these!

Pros
  • 5/8 TPI is for solid and soft metal pipe only
Cons
  • Expensive

Lasted 8 days in use always with coolant.

The previous blade we had (different brand, same specs) lasted about 6 months under the same cutting conditions. Cut 2 days a week. Used only with aluminum and always with coolant. That was enough for 8 days of real use. Also for the record the cracks are NOT at the weld which is even more disappointing.

Pros
  • Fits all band saws that use a 93" long, 3/4" wide saw blade.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model.

(Updated) 2. Blade hit target

(update below) As described but broken weld less than a day. Let's see if the second blade holds up better. The second blade held up very well. It eventually broke (not along the weld) and there were a few small cracks in the teeth in various places, indicating good wear. That's what I expect from a quality knife.

Pros
  • 5/8 TPI - Variable tooth profile, large tooth spacing 5mm per tooth, small tooth spacing 3.1mm per tooth
Cons
  • Doubtful
