Exceptional quality for a great price

After trying these blank DVDs, I am really impressed with the quality. They burn quickly and flawlessly, without any errors. The price is also very reasonable compared to other brands. The only downside is that the label surface is not very accommodating for writing on it. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable option for personal or professional use.

Pros
  • Large storage capacity of 7GB per disk
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Check before you buy!

I encourage anyone considering this media to check burner compatibility on the Imation website before purchasing (I wish I could) [.] I have a NEC 3520A drive And this media wins' I don't run at every speed but I've had NO PROBLEMS with Maxell, Phillips and Verbatim media. I initially chose an Imation product as I have always bought their CDs in the past and have been very happy with them. I'm not sure what the problem is with DVD media, but I won't waste any more time/money on this - I'll pass

Pros
  • DVD-Rs
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

Not good with NEC ND-2500A

Last month I bought a NEC ND-2500A 8X recorder and a pack of Memorex 8X DVD-Rs for my first recording. As a result, they were only recorded at 4X, which is acceptable with DVD-R in this condition. After reading some forums I found out that FujiFilm 4X DVD-R 10 packs are known to burn at 8X because they are Taiyo Yuden media. So I bought them and they actually picked up twice as fast as they should. However, these Imation drives have a maximum speed of 2X. Even after downloading some "corrected"

Pros
  • Blank media
Cons
  • Out of fashion
