Not Worth the Investment

As a result of my tests, I determined that this impact socket is not worth the investment for automotive use. Although it might work for some light-duty applications, it is not durable enough to handle heavier loads. The only pro I found was that it is easy to handle, but that doesn't make up for its lack of strength. As a result, I would not recommend this product for those needing a reliable and heavy-duty impact socket.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to its high-quality impact-grade steel construction.
Cons
  • Difficult to store and transport due to its larger size compared to standard sockets.

Like a good socket

No complaints. It's the right size, has a 3/8" drive as ordered, and is well made. It seems as solid as other deep sockets I own. I ordered it to use 1/2 -> 3/8". Torque meter adapter 3/8".

Pros
  • Individual sockets
Cons
  • old

This is a deeper socket so it's good if you have space.

I needed a 24mm socket for a transmission oil change. This socket has done its job. My approach angles were a bit odd, but the depth of the socket meant I didn't need a socket extender and was able to set the torque more precisely.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly cracked
