The Volcano feature is a joke. Breaks waffles into pieces to get them out.

I bought it because it was supposed to be easy to clean. Unfortunately, a machine that's easy to clean but makes horrible waffles is useless. I tried it six times with different batter thicknesses and times and could never get it to make a waffle that wasn't COMPLETELY HALF when the lid was on. Imagine two parts of a hamburger bun, top and bottom. That's how the waffles came out of this thing. I had to scrape off the top half of the lid every time. What a hassle. Plus, you can forget aboutโ€ฆ

Exactly what I wanted for the kitchen and dining room

I've wanted a Belgian style waffle maker for a long time but couldn't settle on the price/brand/style. After reading some very helpful comments I decided to make this purchase and if I don't like it I'll just return it (which I hate which is why it took so long). Fortunately, Perfect Pour Volcano is exactly what I was looking for. TIPS: read instructions; experiment with the batter (I started with plain homemade batter - fairly thin, as directed by the instructions - and added a little oil; noโ€ฆ

Truly non-stick and no mess!

Where has it been all my life! I have to admit I love waffles and will use any excuse to make them. The problem with the manufacturers I've encountered in the past has been that the batter has leaked all over the place and no matter what I've tried, they've never been non-stick! I heard this waffle maker was different and got good reviews so I was cautiously optimistic. When it arrived I wiped it off and continued with my favorite blend. I wanted to see if it isn't sticky. It was very nonstick!

Theoretically Excellent in Waffle Makers

I was excited to get my new waffle maker but. However, I was a bit disappointed with some features. Firstly it tells you NOT to use spray or oil on it as they say spray oil can build up and cause sticking. It says it's a non-stick surface and you don't need to use a spray. When I first used it I didn't use the spray. What a bloody mess! The waffle got stuck in all the slots of the waffle maker and also burned. It was fun choosing everything. NOT! And let's not forget to mention what a terribleโ€ฆ
