Great sound! I'm not an audiophile. But when fishing and navigating, ICW works quite loud directly from the head unit. The sound is also clear. I had to turn up the bass. But I don't expect my boat to rattle like my car did when I was 20 years younger. Good enough for children's pop songs, grandpa's big band and my mix.

What a great discount on a great product! I am shocked at how clear and loud these speakers are! My pontoon boat is completely open so sounds are quickly lost. But with these speakers, listening anywhere on the boat is no problem, even when traveling. Great bass too. They cost twice as much! (Dunno getting it, Revain- LOL) Have already recommended them to friends!

I am renovating my master shower and I wanted sound in it. If you've looked at speakers designed specifically for the shower, you know they're bloody expensive. I would rate these speakers as average. They are comparable to the younger Pioneer, Kenwood etc. which still cost twice as much. Very acceptable quality for the price. I can't vouch for the water resistance yet but they have been installed on a boat so I'll find out soon. My only complaint is that the box had clearly been previously opened and did not contain any MOUNTING HARDWARE OR CABLES that should have been included. I bought these speakers based on positive reviews. I knew I was buying cheap speakers and didn't have high hopes for the sound quality, but I was surprised at how poor the sound was with today's technology. *Update* I have had these speakers installed for more than 2 years. As a result, I installed 2 more, for a total of 4 speakers. All but one still work just as well as the day I bought them. This one almost sounds like it's slightly cracked when cranked really loud, but it sounds good at all other volume levels. This problem just started last summer. They went into the 2005 Larsen 27 Lxi to replace Jensen's original 150 watt speakers which had just been warned about the weather and the cones banged. They went in easily, although the old speakers had a latch on the cover and are solid, and I had to drill new screw holes because they were further apart than the original ones.
