Raise RV Mattress

I installed these under my RV bed to hold the mattress. Ordered 60 pounds and holds it with no help. I would say next time I would order Β£80 instead as by the time you add duvets and pillows and more blankets it will hold up but will struggle. Great product and does what it's supposed to.

Pros
  • Stroke: 8 inches
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Replacing the tailgate on a van.

Thinner than the 60# jacks we had on the trailer slamming door. They work but I might buy 80# if they were available. Not seen heavier than this length on Revain. It is very easy to replace the old one. I watched the video to see how to open the clasp. Don't try to push the bar in to make it smaller. Open the door wide and she comes in, then close the door.

Pros
  • Compatible with 10mm ball mounts; Note: Check the thickness required for your application; DO NOT ATTEMPT to push by hand, this could damage the jambs
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Replaced posts on my Hot Springs spa cover (Watkins P/N 71794)

. There are some differences. They have 1/4" rods instead of Watkins' 5/16". The pressure cylinder (the black, thicker part) is also smaller in diameter than the original Watkins. Both these and the originals are 20 inches long and 60# tall. They cost about $25 a pair; Watkins - $75 each. I decided to try these and they worked great. They might not last as long as the originals, but considering the price difference, they're worth installing.

Pros
  • A pair of Red Hound Automatic Gas Spring Brackets
Cons
  • Some errors
