🪵 1 Block of 4 Inch Solid Wood Cube Review

I returned this because I received a block that was approximately 2 x 3 x 5 inches which was not a cube at all and none of the dimensions 4 inches were what I needed. The block was marked with a barcode that also said it was a 4-inch cube.

This is definitely a solid wood block, but not square at all. I need to line it up so it's not so obviously crooked. The corners have also been sanded, almost a 2cm triangle with a flat surface. The crack is also small, but it's easily repaired.

I bought this block of wood to use as a stand for my 4th Gen Echo Dot. I originally bought a desktop stand for Dot but it was poorly constructed and ended up blocking the ring of light. This small piece of wood is the perfect height for the Echo Dot and highlights the ring of light, making the ring of light very visible.

A very strong, durable block of wood. The surface is smooth. Looks almost the same as in the photo, nothing special. I use it as a stand to add some height to a very small vase on my desk and it does the job well. No cracks or knots like the other block I bought. If you need a block of solid wood, take this one.
