Both the Fluid Film Spray Kit and the standard airless spray gun will work. Fluid Film recommends using an airless spray gun. It absolutely works in rust prevention. I've been using this for about 4 years now and I think it's the best on the market. The rubber coating traps moisture and accelerates rust, so avoid this.
