Not worth the money

My husband installed a 2005 Ford Explorer in our Ford Explorer and it only took 2 weeks. I had to replace it again after 2 weeks.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • piggy bank price

Do not use! fits part

Garbage! Faulty part. Gas has entered the cylinder through the vacuum tube! Do not use this part! Spend a little more and buy from a parts store

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Lots of things

Dangerous garbage! Doesn't work. All of them!

The fuel rail was torn off. Not sure. Lost half a tank of gas on the freeway. Buy OME parts, a month and this thing has gone bad!

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • High Price

BUYER ATTENTION! Spare Parts

Why does Revain allow this item to be sold? I used this replacement part and it caused damage to my car. I still have $600 to repair and finally read the previous reviews to realize it was a defective part. I bought the Bosch brand and it worked! DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Almost OK

Part not working/broken after a week!

Do not buy! Attached to the car, lasted a week, then the part failed... left me and had to be towed. The shop found the part defective ($475 for damage/towing etc.). I did not send the defective/bad part back from the mechanic to send it back to the seller for a refund. Needless to say, DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Cheap and doesn't last long!

garbage! Less than two weeks later, I smelled raw fuel under the hood. The o-ring is fine, but the rest of the sensor is not quality checked. pressurized fuel only enters the sensor to exit at the flat bottom corner of the sensor. Save yourself a headache and a few bucks and buy a good one.

Pros
  • spare parts
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Faulty part matches replacement parts

So after paying my mechanic to install this part the 2006 Explorer still didn't work properly. The mechanic came back and found that the sensor was faulty, causing the injector to fail. Now I have to get another sensor and remove the entire intake again. You will have to buy new intake gaskets again. This part should be withdrawn from sale. I have over $300 in parts and labor because of this part and now I cannot return it or get a refund for repairs caused by this part.

Pros
  • Sensors
Cons
  • Some faults

Cheap quality part, use at your own risk!

Looking at this part, are you wondering if it's worth saving $80-$100 on this part instead of buying a genuine Ford part? Well here's what we got: Installation was very easy and literally took 5 minutes, but the part broke during a trip less than 2 weeks later and we were left stranded. I was careful installing this part and the hose didn't go in easily without force so I'm not sure how it broke in less than 2 weeks although it could be that the part failed some other way and the garage brokeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Vulgarity
