The OEM engine setup was definitely missing a click, so I feel like I noticed better throttle response with this system. Fearing water ingestion, which I think is a minimal risk as everything is surrounded, I bought a pre-filter to go through this filter to give a little more reassurance. I only had the car for one tank of gas before running so no real gas mileage data, but less restrictive airflow should result in slightly better fuel economy.
