It works great once you remove the coating from the adhesive!

My husband put this sealant on his sandblasting cabinet to keep sand from splashing out the door. He had trouble removing the backing from the adhesive, but once he removed it, peeling it off was easy and seemed to work fine. He is happy with this product.

Seriously avoid this

I used it around my door gap and it started breaking after a few days due to simple friction when opening and closing the door. However, the absolute nightmare with this product is that when you try to uninstall the stuff, you just can't uninstall it. It leaves a thick, sticky residue that looks so bad it just has to be wiped off. Took me about 2 hours with sticky ointment, acetone and razor blades. Do yourself a favor and get a well known brand

DO NOT BUY, THIS IS TERRIBLE. The plastic strip is permanently attached. Foaming tears.

The description shows how to tear off the plastic strip to reveal the adhesive side of the foam. With the 2 roles I have, this is not possible. The plastic strip is permanently fixed. When trying to peel it off, only a thin layer of foam tears off. I ended up attaching it with 2-sided tape. I only got these because I wanted them to be thicker than usual. If you don't need anything oversized, just grab some pre-made tape from Home Depot or Lowes. They work exactly as expected.
