It worked great but I warn you if your arm is broken make sure you know why it is broken. If internal parts stick and rupture, the plastic inside can crack and cause catastrophic engine damage. That's why Mercedes suggests replacing the entire manifold. This will work and save you money, but make sure your wings are working freely and aren't cracked.

I needed this part ASAP, I paid extra to have it delivered immediately. The description clearly states that it works for both V6 and V8, but it doesn't. Gaskets only for V6. Nowhere was it asked which V6 or V8 I have. There is another piece of metal (maybe some kind of lever) that fits the V8, but the washers definitely don't work. In fact I listed my make and model and was told it would fit my Mercedes GL450. It is not! Now I have to jump through the hoops to get some spares.

Looks like a good kit comes with no central screw which I'm told usually breaks off when removed. I only found this out after I opened the package and couldn't find the instructions. So I searched for videos and found numerous references to the center screw being damaged during removal. Looks like I'll have to cut off the plastic lever on the old piston to install the part that ieworks sold me.
