From eating too fast to not eating at all

I ordered a couple of different slow feeder designs as I have two cats. I really thought that this one was going to be the best and almost just purchased two of these. I'm glad that I didn't as it is inhumane to starve animals. Neither of my cats could figure out how to get the food out of this bowl. It also took them time to figure out the other slow feeder bowl but they eventually got it.I think the problem with this bowl is that the internal channels are too deep. The kibble fell into the…

Pros
  • A great way to reward or treat your cat
Cons
  • May not be aesthetically pleasing in some households

Fun for my cats: my feedback

My cats love snacks and they love this toy. They got all the snacks out of it, so it’s not too difficult for them to use. I think it’s cute and it keeps them occupied. They’re about 5 months old and curious, so this is good for them.

Pros
  • Ideal for felines of all ages
Cons
  • Might require supervision during use

Fairy decapitated good for me

Our cat has many goes at it for about two weeks (day and night). The design is challenging enough and it is not too easy for the cat to get the treats out. This morning, however, I came down to find the crime scene (see attached photos) with the fairy decapitated and gutted 🫣😂. We’ll try sowing it up or something but wish it lasts a bit longer since the cat seems to really like it.

Pros
  • Provides an excellent form of enrichment for indoor cats
Cons
  • Could require excessive cleaning after use

Great! But cat figured it out quickly.

Great product, and good for the price. Docked a star because it’s labeled intermediate but my cat figured it out in the first sitting, so may be more beginner.

Pros
  • Combines play and exercise into one activity
Cons
  • Could be too heavy for some cat owners to move

Easy and Fun to use

This treat puzzle is really well made. The covers slide very easily and our cat was able to figure it out and manipulate it pretty quickly. Only comment is make sure you use bigger sized treats. The first time I just tried dry kibble and the holes were so small he couldn't get his mouth in far enough to get the tinier pieces of food out.

Pros
  • A great way to keep your cat occupied while you are away
Cons
  • Could require careful placement to avoid being knocked over

Stops the mess on many levels!

My cat is a "gobble" eater - so she was vomiting almost daily since I got her 4 years ago. I tried enzyme additives, serving very small servings thru the day, got food for sensitive stomachs, etc. This slows her down so that she is not gobbling, is "entertained" longer at the bowl and I can't see how this bowl would be tipped over even on purpose. Very sturdy. Dishwasher safe on the upper level. It would be a good size for a puppy or small dog as well. I don't think it would be easy to chew…

Pros
  • Can be used to increase social interaction between cats and their owners
Cons
  • Could become outdated quickly

Cats love it! on my review.

My cat loves this toy! He figured it out in less than a minute. It is so interesting to watch him slide the pieces to get the treats. I was so impressed with his skills. He really enjoys it. When he is restless, I put some treats in it and he is occupied for a little while. I would definitely recommend it.

Pros
  • Enhances your cat's playtime experience
Cons
  • Might be too difficult to find replacement parts

It did the impossible and worked!

I have a very finicky and smart male cat. Ordinary toys bore him. He loves his treats and I was running out of hiding place ideas. This puzzle is perfect, and he absolutely loves it! He figured it out right off the bat and it keeps him entertained until the treats are gone. Which doesn't take him long, but he loves working for the rewards. Excellent construction in getting cats to use their senses and hunting skills. So worth the price and I will definately be looking for more puzzles like…

Pros
  • Helps with improving your cat’s focus and concentration
Cons
  • Might not be durable enough for aggressive cats

Cat figured it out in under 2 minutes

It’s well crafted, well-made, and very durable. However, my cat figured it all out in about 2 to 3 minutes and though my cat may be the nicest cat in the world she does not strike me as the most brilliant cat in the world…. she does love those treats I put in them (greenies) so she is super motivated….so I have to give it 4 out of 5 stars because it just didn’t do it for me or my cat

Pros
  • Helps with reducing anxiety and stress in cats
Cons
  • May not be able to withstand outdoor use

Torn. I want to like this but big engineering flaw.

I really want to like this puzzle feeder. I like that is slows my cats eating down (for one of my cats that likes to overeat) and I like that it is a bit of challenge for my other cat who gets bored easily. However (and I’m not the first to me

Pros
  • Can be a useful training tool for cats
Cons
  • Could be too difficult to disassemble for cleaning

Great food bowl. best in my review

So far I love it for my cat who usually devours all their food within seconds-minutes, AND goes after my other cat's food. This bowl definitely makes my cat work a little harder to get all the food out of the crevices, which is good! Plus, the bowl is a lot sturdier than other lick mats I've tried, which my cat tears apart.

Pros
  • Helps to improve your cat's overall well-being
Cons
  • Could be too advanced for younger cats

Great for small dogs as well

I actually bought this for my dog, she’s a 9lb poodle/min pin mix and all the dog slow feeders are too big for her. This bowl works great! I feed her a combo of kibble and fresh food and it all fits in here nicely. Great price as well!

Pros
  • FOOD SAFE MATERIALS: BPA, PVC & phthalate free
Cons
  • Could be too time-consuming for busy cat owners

Our cat loves this. She waits for us to fill her treats in the morning so she can search and find them. I wish it would come in other colors to be more aesthetically pleasing. It is made very well. I would recommend. It is fun watching your cat learn how to open and maneuver all the levers and slides.

Pros
  • Encourages cats to be more active
Cons
  • Might not stay in place during use

This toy was a big success with my cat. It's lightweight and easy to throw, the feather enhances attraction, and the woven fabric makes it easy for the cat to catch and hold. The opening for the treats is just right to let one or two out at a time, and the clear window makes it easy to see when it needs to be refilled. The downsides are that the fabric doesn't hold up to claws for more than a few days, and sometimes it slips and covers the hole a bit so that the treats don't fall out. If these…

Pros
  • Mentally stimulates your cat
Cons
  • Could be too difficult to clean
