Keeps My Truck Running Cool

I purchased an intercooler upgrade for my diesel truck and have been extremely satisfied with the results. Through trial and error, I found that this upgrade makes a significant difference in keeping my engine running cool during heavy towing or hauling. The increased airflow and improved heat dissipation have also boosted my truck's overall performance. The only downside is that it is a bit expensive, but the benefits are worth the investment.

Pros
  • Improved engine performance and efficiency.
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other aftermarket upgrades on the market.

PITA for mounting and cheasy clamps.

This solved the problem. It seems to be quite common on these rigs for the top link to break. This was the more economical solution. Chris Dedir's review and photos were very helpful. But the center tube had to be flipped, judging by the photos from the review. The pressure sensor ends at the top, not at the bottom. Removal of the cold side of the fabric was: 20 minutes. Installation took an hour including 3 beers.

Pros
  • Piping and Piping Kits
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

It's great for the price.

I was impressed with the quality of the aluminum tubing and the silicone hoses installed correctly. The clamps are basically the same as the OEM. The only complaint is that the MAP sensor connector is poorly made and I had to insert the sensor with silicone as it wouldn't stick on its own. Not a deal breaker in any way and for the price there is no better option. It's much stronger than the factory cold pipe, which is the point of failure on every early 6.7 I've ever dealt with.

  • Automotive
Cons
