Great handheld scanner

This handheld scanner is the best thing since sliced bread! It's the perfect tool for genealogists or anyone with shoeboxes full of photos to scan. It's so easy and very fast. The internal battery ensures a long runtime between charges. The picture quality is also excellent. You can also scan documents and then convert them to PDF or Word files if needed. It's the only product that's fully portable, so you're not tied to your computer while scanning. Also, you have the option to increase the…

Exactly what I was looking for!

I've been looking for a truly portable scanner for a long time and I came across this beauty. It perfectly scans documents, business cards and photos. I should have seen that it comes with a 1GB SD card and internal storage so I can scan hundreds of cards at CES with plenty of free space. It also comes with great OCR software to turn my documents and business cards into usable, editable files. I sent all my business cards with one click directly in Outlook and now have a huge database of…

It works as advertised

I was surprised to get an email from a company that does this with a $30 coupon, even more surprised that the price was better than Revain and that Revain only has one rating. I only use Mac computers and do not use the software that came with the product. I haven't checked the battery life yet, just got the scanner today. The quality of the scans is satisfactory, the scan time increases significantly at a resolution of 600 dpi, but with a slight improvement in quality. I bought the scanner for

Junk: Scanner

Product: Iriscan Express 2. That's junk! I wanted something I could use to scan photos in Utah to take home and sort through. Unable to install item Can't contact anyone in the company to discuss what went wrong with the install; the only thing that could be installed - now I can't uninstall it because it is "running in the background". I wrote a letter to tech support which is listed on the company's website but still there is no response. I've had port scanners since about 1997 but it's just…

Basic handheld scanner

I bought this scanner hoping for a smart Windows 7 compatible solution to try to go paperless in my home office for personal documents. I have a Fujitsu ScanSnap with IRIScan software, which is great for fast, multi-page, high-quality direct-to-PDF scanning on Windows XP, but became obsolete almost immediately when Vista came out and proved to have terrible customer service . I also have an HP LaserJet All-In-One that produces excellent quality JPGs at very slow speeds. When IRIScan had a great
