I received my bags today. They appear to be of excellent quality. The canvas is nice and thick. Lined with plastic. The zipper and all fasteners appear to be of good quality. I was expecting them to be taller, but that's entirely up to me for not reading the specs. I just thought they were small tool bags that would fit more. I ended up using two pockets for the tools I wanted to store. One for a set of screwdrivers, the other for a set of wrenches. No big sentences. I included my hand in the…

These bags seem strong enough. The problem I have is that the 2.1 inch (in) depth is misleading. The listed size for 12" wide is 12L x 5.5H x 2.1D". Putting anything of any width in these pockets will reduce the overall height of the pockets. Clicking on a pocket to get 2.1"D will remove 5.5"H pockets. I tried putting the dremel in the largest bag and now instead of a 5.5" bag I have a 4.0" H. Stay tuned!

This is a good choice for a heavy duty bag for small tools that don't normally come in a separate bag. Some tool bags are too big and some are too small, but this selection hits the spot. I put a heavy red fan puller and some small gray testers. I haven't found a use for the other two yet, but I'm sure I will soon. Quality materials and construction for years of reliable service. These bags were purchased to store screws and drill bits. They are made of very heavy nylon and are covered in some kind of rubber material. They are very committed and seem able to withstand abuse. The zippers are average quality plastic zippers, but I'm not worried about them failing right away (unless I'm stupid and helping speed it up). The bag itself looks very solid and the zipper is solid and smooth. No doubt the bag will last a long time. The only complaint about the bag is that each length is the same width. I wish the longer pockets were wider too. However, the clip is poorly constructed and literally fell apart on the first attempt to attach it. Ordered these for backpacks and other uses and they weren't overly impressed. The biggest issue was that the zippers don't jam so there's no guarantee they'll stay closed. This is especially true if you are using a small carabiner as the weight of the zip will cause it to open on its own. They seem smaller than I thought, but I measured and they are (more or less) true. The 7" is actually 1/4" longer and the 9" is maybe 1/4" shorter, but for the most part the measurements are correct. The ends of the bags are slightly sloped down towards the shorter length (maybe half an inch overall per bag), so these measurements refer to the opening of the zipper and not the bottom of the bag, which is slightly shorter.
