Poor quality best in accessories

I have ordered three of these rods. They are made in China. All bent and worked unevenly. Buy better quality traction. Returned.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Long nails required

The latch looks nice and feels pretty strong, but in our case, to open the latch you have to pry your fingernail under the handle and pop it open. It is very difficult to operate and my wife immediately demanded that I find another handle for our pocket door.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Not trendy

Great product, best in the category of door hardware and locks

I bought this to put a TV in our kitchen. It works great, giving us the ability to pull the TV out of the wall and rotate it so you can see it from any angle. It was easy to put on, you just had to make sure you could find the rivets where you wanted to put it. I am planning to buy another one for my bedroom.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Great price

Works in your pocket

A sliding door handle is relatively easy to fit if your sliding door is already drilled and ready to accept the hardware. A little more difficult if the door is not drilled. This particular hardware had a beautiful ORB finish, didn't feel flimsy, and performed as intended. The area where you can place your finger on the underside of the handle is a bit small, but there's nothing you can do about it as it has to fit in the side of the door.

Pros
  • Great value for money
Cons
  • Almost never

Difficult to install but works well and looks good.

I bought these for a pair of pocket doors that didn't come pre-drilled for door hardware. I'm a total newbie to woodworking so installation was a bit tricky. I had to drill a corner hole for the "trigger" portion of the latch to go into the door when not in use, and then use a couple of chisels to cut out a rectangular area of the metal plate. Then, through trial and error, other spots were gouged until everything was flush with the edge of the door and the descending portion worked smoothly…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Clarity
