cheaply made and love it. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone except the person who did it. This is from an apprentice carpenter.

Curved edges didn't let the handle sink into the door pocket without scratching. Light weight and cheap feel compared to what I replaced. The movement of the lock is not smooth. Wouldn't buy again.

This product sucks. The locking turning mechanism is not smooth and requires considerable force to turn. My kids couldn't close it because of that. From a company like Schlage, I expected a higher quality mechanism that was smooth, easy to turn and lock.

These should be standard sizes as they fit perfectly. Of course I read the measurements before ordering and they seemed to match mine. I wanted to get rid of the gilding and make the new one to match the bronze hinges and door handles I had already installed on all the other doors. This looks great and works great.

Let me start by saying this is black not what is advertised just solid dark black. Second, the door lock button is small. If you have big hands and thumbs, you won't like this lock. You have to work to grab the knob to rotate and lock the door. The only plus I have is the fold down built in door handle which is a nice feature. I won't use this, it's the wrong color and the locking button is too small.

I have Schlage lock sets at home and love the quality. However, I am surprised that Schlage developed such a product. Almost impossible to break because it's so hard. Couldn't return it to Revain as it was past the return date so I emailed this and got no response. I think I'll install it anyway since I don't really use the locking mechanism. Even the bronze look doesn't match the rest of the bronze locks I have. It's more or less black.
