Blade couldn't handle the job.

I don't know how long these blades will last but I covered my house with hardiboard and the blade didn't last. The teeth came loose and the blade was just beginning to melt as it got hot.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not the best

Absolutely crap on fiber cement siding

Purchased to use for cutting Hardie fairings. I made some window cutouts and the canvas is ready. The teeth are rounded off immediately. It had carbide teeth, but obviously you need polycrystalline diamond teeth to last long. Bought a big brand as it works great.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Available in black only.

I cannot rate this item accurately

I cannot rate this item accurately because the person who used it made a mistake. They tried to cut through the wall panel and the plywood behind it. The blade lasted about 4 feet and dulled. Still, I'd spend $ and get one with more intersections. This one only has six.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Absolute rubbish! for saw blades, spare parts and accessories

Garbage! I made a 36" cut on a 1/2" backing plate and all the teeth broke. I then looked at Lowe for a suitable blade and couldn't find one. I ended up buying a 24 tooth Spyder carbide blade designed for wood. He made about 20 more of these cuts without a single chipped tooth, and it only cost $6.

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Leave! for spare parts and accessories for power tools

Bought with high hopes. I didn't make 10 cuts with this blade before I had to put my old carbide blade back on and have been using it ever since. I heard similar stories and ignored them. Nothing compares to the power of experience. I can't give less than 1 star, otherwise I would have. I recommend this product for nothing!

Pros
  • High-quality assembly
Cons
  • There are nuances

Great seller and product

Great product from the seller arrived sooner than expected Even a good blade doesn't seem to last long. I built a small 6x6 chicken coop and it went through the blade before I was done. I still expected it to be short. They'll go through the blades very quickly, so buy a few extra ones. Also be prepared for a lot of dust. Every blade I've used has the same amount. If that bothers you, I would use a Bosch diamond blade on a jigsaw. It lasts a long time and the dust is very low.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Useless features

Doesn't cut well on fiber cement board (e.g. hard plank)

This blade is horrible / not really designed to cut hard plank / fiber cement board despite being advertised that it can. I was able to cut maybe <1 board (8 inches) before the blade got so hot it warped and became unusable. Once the blade is cool and straight you can try cutting again but you will get the same/worse results. After trying to cut hardboard off a house for 30 minutes, I resorted to this blade to score the side panel and then took a hammer and chisel to cut all the way through.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some minor issues
