I tried the Jabra Speak 710 in a 10' x 16' conference room with a dozen people around a table. The Jabra was paired with an iPhone 7 lying on the table next to the Jabra. We were generally able to understand people on the phone (see Breaking the Rules below), but the mic didn't always pick up everyone in the room well. I tested it with my colleague the other day and I was able to comfortably walk about 8 feet away and still be heard well on the other end. Not a very well thought out hardware and firmware design from a D&I perspective. For any visually impaired user in the office, there are a few issues that would be easy to solve for Jabra to qualify for the original design.1. There are no tactile sensations from the buttons. I travel a lot for business and this speaker connects to my laptop (via USB) and mobile phone (via bluetooth) and works great as a portable travel speaker. I tested it on both Skype for Business calls and Cisco Jabber calls and the sound quality was amazing.
