Great caliber and value.

This sensor looks accurate, consistent and durable. Particularly good value for money. Updated October 30, 2018 After only four months of use, I've changed my rating from 5 stars to 1 star. The reading is 4-5 psi lower than several other gauges I own, including another gauge that appears to be made by the same manufacturer but is marked with a different name.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are nuances

Disappointed with tools and gear

I bought four (4) Jaco tire pressure gauges in total, assuming all four would show the same air pressure I was very wrong. Four pressure gauges in the tires and only one pressure gauge with PSI accuracy. Does anyone need to calibrate tire pressure sensors or similar better? I'm disappointed in two things, why is it listed as calibrated?; and how could all four (4) gauges show different tire pressures?

Can't handle pressure.

I have an older NAPA pencil meter that has worked great for over 10 years. It was just awkward to use and hard to read, but that's for sure. Jayco Elite Pro worked once. Jayco will deflate the tire when you try to check the pressure and the needle won't snap, giving you an accurate reading. Damn Jaco! I tried calling support and they said they would call back within a day or two. I have better things to do than sit and wait for the phone to ring. I thought it must be CUSTOMER SERVICE? Very rude

Jako vs. Joes - Tire and Wheel Tools

I have both Jaco and Joes Racing gauges both 0-60psi. Both showed the same 33psi in a random tire test, so you can't go wrong with either in terms of accuracy. The Joe hose and fitting is approximately 19 inches long and the Jaco is 15 inches long. The Jaco dial is slightly smaller, but both are legible. Both appear to be well-made reliable sensors. In my opinion Jaco has 3 decisive advantages. It costs about $6 less, has rotary connectors on both the dial end and hose clamp end, and holds the…

Product excellent but customer service could be better

The last sensor (not JACO) I've had in almost 20 years - now it looks antique. I can say this gauge is incredibly well made and it turns out my old gauge read about 5psi - oops. I like the pivoting nature of the hose and nozzle. I think it will last longer than my last one. That means I'm turning sixty. unimportant. So, the product is great but I have to add that the customer service is amazing. For the most part I was happy with the sellers but this company goes above and beyond. I received at

Accurate, same head as Drive Auto gauge see comparison

I have three gauges, an old Joes Racing 0-60 and two new ones from Drive Auto Products and Jaco Superior Products. All three were purchased by Revain. All three agree in measurements with a difference of within 1 PSI when checking tire pressures of around 30-40 PSI. All have an exhaust valve. The DRIVE and Jaco units appear to be identical (see photo) except for the cartridges and company logos. Jaco has a pivoting ball chuck, while Drive has an angled chuck. Jaco and Drive are made in China…

What I was looking for

I finally got tired of the inaccuracies of cheap analog/pencil gauges and the hassle of batteries for digital gauges, so I decided to buy two JACO Elite Pro gauges (0-60 psi and 0-100 pounds per square inch ). One for my wife's car and one for my truck/trailer. I had two fairly accurate digital gauges that differed by 2 PSI from each other. One broke down due to battery corrosion a few days before I ordered the JACO sensors. Another digital sensor with non-replaceable batteries was also dead…

Jaco saved my day! good for tools and equipment

It's a little pricey but these $2 and $3 gauges got just as expensive. The Jaco Gauge will give you a good reading the first time and will hold the reading until you release it. If you're like me, age affects your vision. So the great thing about the Jaco display is that you can take a reading and move the display to a brighter spot and then read it. I like the bleed valve so you can pump it up a pound or two and by keeping the gauge attached to the tire you can easily bleed off a little…

*** September 7, 2019 - Updated my rating to 5 stars. I contacted Jayco in August and explained why the original block wasn't being read properly. They apologized and assured me a replacement would be sent. About a week later I received it. I immediately tried it on my Lexus ES300H. I compared it to the TPMS sensor and the reading matched exactly. Apparently the first sensor was just bad. However, Jayco did well and due to that and the characteristics of this sensor I changed my rating to 5…
